Is Bloom listening all the time?
No.
Bloom listens only after your child presses its button, and the microphone closes when they finish. Until then, nothing is sent.

Who can hear what my child says?
You can, in the parent app.
Bloom's answers come from software, not from a person listening in. The recording is turned into words, then deleted.
You can read the words in the app for up to 90 days. We do not sell them, and they are never used to teach the AI.
What you can do: Read any conversation in the app.

What happens if my child says something worrying?
Bloom points them to a grown-up, and tells you.
“Some kids at school have been mean to me.”
“I'm sorry you're dealing with that. You deserve to feel safe. Please tell a parent, teacher or another grown-up you trust.”

Bloom answers kindly, tells your child to talk to a grown-up they trust, and sends you an alert.
No AI system is perfect. Bloom is designed to use multiple safeguards, redirect sensitive situations toward trusted adults and keep parents informed when something may require their attention.
Bloom is not an emergency-monitoring service and does not replace parents, teachers, medical professionals or emergency services.
What you can do: Open the conversation from the alert.
Does Bloom have a screen or a camera?
No screen. No camera.
Bloom is a plush toy with a speaker and a microphone that opens when the button is pressed. Nothing in it can see.
It cannot show your child videos or take pictures of them.

Can we delete what Bloom remembers?
Yes. Any time.
Every conversation is written down and kept for up to 90 days. Delete any of them in the app, whenever you like.
Bloom also remembers a few things about your child, so it can chat better. You can wipe that too, and it is gone at once.
What you can do: Delete a conversation, or reset Bloom's memory, in the app.
